A $1,000 reward was offered today by Crime Stoppers for help solving a murder in Oceanside in June.
Oceanside police officers responded to a 911 call for help in the area of 1510 Lemon Street on June 22, 2016, at about midnight, where they found Julio Granados lying on the sidewalk. He had been stabbed and investigators believe it was not a random act by a strangers, but an attack by someone Granados knew.
Witnesses told detectives from the crimes of violence unit that they saw suspects flee in a vehicle.
San Diego County Crime Stoppers is offering the $1,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest in the case.
Anyone with information on the identity or location of whoever was responsible for the slaying was urged to call the Oceanside Police Department’s crimes of violence unit at (760) 435-4572 or the Crime Stoppers anonymous tip line at (888) 580-8477.
